With over 40 years of experience in A/V integration, acoustic treatments, and home automation, we bring a meticulous approach to every project. Our Team
With a lifelong passion for music, movies, and high-fidelity sound, our collective journey began in the mid-'80s, gaining an A/V education working in Berkeley's stereo shops; as electrical engineers, designing and integrating analog/digital, power-management, and radar-based solutions for defense and commercial applications; as licensed commercial electricians integrating MRI machines, hyperbaric chambers, and other sensitive hospital equipment; As commercial and residential home-automation integrators; as actuaries who later pursued Master's Degrees in Acoustics; in construction; and in finish carpentry and fine-furniture making. After years of consulting and refining our areas of expertise, we launched DreamScapes in 2023 to make world-class entertainment spaces and accessories accessible to a wider audience. Today, DreamScapes stands as a premier design/build firm, offering turnkey solutions in collaboration with architects and industry-leading partners. The DreamScapes AV / Keith Yates Design (KYD) Showroom in Syracuse showcases the pinnacle of high-end entertainment, demonstrating what's possible when passion, science, and design are without constraint.
